So true! They're evil things, but sometimes they're necessary. Not sure how the presentation (neon lights on a brick wall) go with the text, but it's very well done! I had to look pretty close to realise it wasn't real lights.
hahahaha they make me tired, which leads to bad work, making me have to work late fixing my bad work, which makes me tired.... it's a vicious circle. They only time i like a tight deadline is when the job becomes a hassel, so it can be done and gone!
Really hate to agree with this one, because it goes against everything that makes sense in the world. But it's true. You'd think the best art comes from those who get to take their time with it and really think it through at their own leisure. It doesn't.
Deadlines force me to keep going, work faster, work harder, and not hesitate to contemplate every little detail. It allows me to just slam everything down at once, and in a way it liberates me. It liberates me because even if a detail seems off, I am under no obligation to go back and make it perfect because there's a deadline to be made, and I'd miss it if I concerned myself exclusively with tiny insignificant details.
End result is something that has a consistent look, even level of detail, and a certain life that only comes from an artist who pushes and pushes and pushes.
